If you plan on staying in Canada upon finishing your college program, you’ll need to take the General Training IELTS later on for your immigration application. The TOEFL exam is not accepted by any Canadian immigration programs.

Studying for the Academic Training IELTS will set you up for success on the General Training IELTS instead of having to learn a completely different exam format.
